You need to do this through your employer. You will asked to provide DCU's routing number (search the website or call customer support) and your account number (from the bottom of your checks... NOT the account nickname or your member number!)

Please note your employer may not provide direct deposit as an option and if this is the case you will not be able to set up direct deposit. This is a limitation of your employer, and not DCU.

Please provide your employer with your checking account and routing numbers. Sometimes providing a voided check will be required. You may also print a convenient Direct Deposit Request form on PC Branch on the Forms/Services page. Your checking account number is included on this form.

Yes, however this is something you would need to set up through your employer and/or their payroll company. Most of the major payroll companies (ADP, for example) support multiple destinations for direct deposit.

Your other option is to set up a recurring external transfer to route the deposit outside of your DCU accounts, but bear in mind there are limits to these services, so check the fine print first.

Yes, you can certainly have a portion of your direct deposit deposited into more than one bank account. You will need to contact your payroll company directly to complete this process.

We post direct deposits in two batches per day. Delays to your payroll deposit are often the result of your employer's processing bank releasing their files later than usual.

Many members receive their payroll deposit up to two days early with direct deposit at DCU.

Yes, but it must be flagged as a checking account with your employer and you'll need to use the cross reference number that appears on your Money Market checks. The cross reference number is also available on our direct deposit form in Forms/Services in PC branch.

Deposits are posted as soon as the notification of the incoming direct deposit from your employer is received. This means that if your employer provides advance notice, funds will post to your account earlier than your normally scheduled pay date. This can be up to two days earlier, then if you were receiving a paper check for your payroll.

You may visit a Deposit Taking ATM and use your DCU ATM or Check Card to make a deposit to your account. You will want to follow the directions at the ATM when making the deposit. For Deposit ATM locations in your area please visit https://www.dcu.org/infodesk/branch-atm/branch-atm-locator.html

Currently my employer will do the payroll on Saturday or Sunday evening. On Monday I'm able to see the check online & on Tuesday the funds are available in my non-DCU account.

Funds will post to your account for direct deposit, as soon as, DCU receives notification of the incoming deposit to expect. If the notification is received in advance of your normal pay date, you will receive access to these funds early, if notification is received only on your pay date, then that is when funds will post. You will want to monitor your accounts to determine when your direct deposit posts.

We require that you set up direct deposit of your entire paycheck in order to be eligible for the lower rate. We also require that you have Electronic Account Statements and automatic/electronic payments to the loan.
