At this time we do not offer monthly reminders for payments due. You can set up a balance notification which will alert you when your balance increases or decreases by a specified amount. You may request Notifications be set up while logged into PC Branch. Once logged into PC Branch, you will want to choose the Notifications link appearing in the gray menu bar below the green menu bar going across the top. You may choose between setting up either a Balance Less Than Notification or a Balance Greater Than Notification. The Balance Notification will be sent the morning after your balance meets the criteria selected for triggering the notice, usually around 4am via email.

It is possible to change your secured Visa credit card to an unsecured credit card. Please be aware that conversion to an unsecured card is dependant upon credit history and is not guaranteed. DCU will require a current credit report before this conversion can be performed, and additional documentation may be required. To begin this process, please contact us at 800.328.8797, option 3.

Most cards are mailed through standard First Class mail, and so cannot be tracked. However, by your request, DCU can send a card through a registered service such as Federal Express. When this is done, you will be provided a tracking number to monitor the card. There is a charge for this service. For details, please contact our Information Center at 800.328.8797 or at dcu@dcu.org

DCU is currently re-evaluating the benefits offered on our Visa credit cards. As such, extended warranties on purchases will not be available on your purchase. This applies to existing Visa Classic cards and DCU Visas opened on February 17th or later. Existing Visa Gold and Platinum cards will continue to offer this benefit. If you are unsure if you qualify for this benefit or not, please feel free to contact our Information Center at 800.328.8797, option 7 or at dcu@dcu.org.

Cards expire every two to three years. New cards are mailed out the month prior to the expiration, i.e. if your card expires in October, your new card will be mailed in September. If you have moved since you last received a card, please make sure we have your current address on file.

Finance charges begin to accrue on your average daily credit card balance if you have taken out a cash advance or balance transfer. The finance charges will stop accruing once you pay off your full credit card balance.

Finance charges are also caused if you haven't paid off your full ending statement balance on the due date that appears on your credit card statement. Please note that there is no grace period to avoid finance charges, the full ending statement balance must be paid on or before the due date.

Verified by VISA is a security system that various commercial websites will enroll in to provide you with an extra level of security. By registering your card with VISA and creating an independent and secure password, Verified by VISA ensures that any online purchases are done by you alone. Verified by VISA is a service provided directly by the VISA Credit Card company itself. DCU does not enroll you in the program, nor do we administer it. You can enroll at visa.com/verifiedbyvisa.
